Catch every service failure before it happens.
LogAI.ai monitors every active load for late pickups, detention events, missed delivery windows, OS&D claims, and carrier no-contact situations. Exceptions surface in a priority queue so your team works the worst problems first—not the ones that arrived first.
Exception types LogAI.ai monitors
Every exception that costs you money or damages a customer relationship—detected automatically and routed to the right person.
Late Pickup Alerts
When a driver has not checked in at the origin within 30 minutes of the appointment window, an alert fires to the dispatcher. The load moves to the exception queue automatically—no monitoring required from your team.
Detention Clock
Free-time begins the moment the at_pickup event fires. The clock counts against the free-time allowance in the rate confirmation. At threshold, the dispatcher is alerted and detention is logged as a pending accessorial on the load record.
OS&D Claims Management
When a consignee reports overage, shortage, or damage, an OS&D record is opened against the load. Photos, BOL notes, and consignee statements are attached. The claim routes to your claims team with the full load history attached.
Missed Delivery Window
When a live ETA update pushes the forecasted arrival past the delivery appointment, the exception fires immediately—not after the fact. Dispatchers have time to notify the consignee before the window closes.
Carrier No-Contact Escalation
If no location update, check call response, or EDI event arrives within the configured monitoring interval, the exception escalates through dispatcher → supervisor → operations manager with each non-response.
Priority Queue
Every exception carries a priority level: P1 (service-critical), P2 (financial impact), or P3 (informational). Dispatchers work the queue from the top—P1 exceptions never age unresolved while P3 items sit in front.
Automatic Carrier Notification
For detention and late pickup exceptions, the system sends a timestamped notification to the carrier automatically. The notification creates a record that supports your accessorial billing and any future dispute.
Exception types and priority levels
Each exception type carries a default priority. Priorities can be adjusted per customer or lane—some shippers have tighter SLAs than others.
| Exception Type | Default Priority | Trigger |
|---|---|---|
| Late Pickup | P1 | Driver has not checked in at origin within 30 minutes of the appointment window. |
| Detention Clock | P2 | Driver has been at the facility longer than the free-time allowance in the rate confirmation. |
| Missed Delivery Window | P1 | Current ETA exceeds the agreed delivery date and time by more than the customer's tolerance. |
| OS&D Claim | P2 | Carrier or consignee has reported overage, shortage, or damage on delivery. |
| Carrier No-Contact | P1 | No location ping, check call response, or EDI update received within the configured monitoring window. |
| Appointment Rescheduled | P3 | Carrier or consignee has requested a delivery appointment change after the load is in transit. |
